Jewelry

Do you make custom jewelry?

Yes, we create custom jewelry within our design aesthetic. FavAUrite jewelry is created in-house, with intention. We use the ancient techniques of forging, fabricating and lost wax casting royal metals into thoughtful treasures. If you are considering a custom project we would love to hear from you via email or in person. Let us know what designs caught your eye and once we narrow down your vision we can sketch-up options and create a mood board for your consideration.  With our lengthy experience in the gemstone trade, we can hunt down your dream gem, or we may already have it in our collection of precious gemstones. Once we agree on a design, we ask for a 50% deposit, and the timeframe will be 4-6 weeks.

Do you do repairs?

We will repair any jewelry that is sold at FavAUrite. We do not repair other jewelry. We have wonderful local recommendations for jewelry repair, please email or call if interested.

Do you offer appraisal services?

Yes! We offer jewelry appraisals for insurance purposes. Our appraisals are evaluated in-house by our Graduate Gemologist, Stephanie Richards. Stephanie received her Graduate Gemologist degree from The Gemological Institute of America and stays current with the ever-changing gemstone and diamond market.

Pricing for appraisals start at $150 for a single piece of jewelry. This price includes updated appraisals for future needs whether it is an insurance change or market fluctuations. If you have a collection of jewelry that needs to be appraised, please give us a call or send us and email for a price estimate. Unsure of what you own? We offer a no-cost evaluation to advise you on your appraisal needs.

Every piece of precious jewelry that is purchased from FavAUrite includes a complimentary appraisal for your records. 

How do I find out my ring size?

If you are local, please stop into our shop and we will size your finger. If you aren’t local, please go to a local jewelry store and a professional will be able to help you figure out your size.

Do you do engraving?

Yes, we offer hand-engraving services for our jewelry. Please email for more information.

Do you restring necklaces?

Necklaces need to be restrung during their lifetime, especially if they are worn and loved often. FavAUrite offers restringing services to help sure-up your old favorites, or to sing a new song into your grandmother’s pearls. How do you source your gemstones and metal?

Our gemstones are sourced with three things in mind: beauty, value and integrity. All of our precious gemstone suppliers are held at the highest standards for transparency and trustworthiness. The royal metals that we use to create our jewelry is recycled and refined into proper purity before our work begins. Maintaining good relationships with other business that share our environmental impact beliefs is very important to us. We do not work with man-made gemstones or diamonds.

Orders

Can you add a greeting card and gift wrap my order?

Yes! Please use the notes section of your order to request a complimentary greeting card and gift wrap. Don’t worry if you forget to add your note durning check-out, just send us an email afterwards to hello@favaurite.com

Do you offer gift certificates?

Currently we offer old-fashioned, hand written gift certificates that we can mail to your loved-one. Give us a call or send us an email at hello@favaurite.com and we will accommodate your request.

What is your return policy?

We hope you are thrilled with your purchase from FavAUrite, however, if the gift didn’t hit the mark, you can return or exchange unworn jewelry in its original condition within 14 days. All custom jewelry and rings that have been resized are final sale. Shipping is covered for exchanges. For returns, we will remove the shipping cost from your return refund. We can provide a shipping label, just send us an email to start the exchange/refund process.

We do not accept returns or exchanges of jewelry that shows signs of wear. If jewelry shows signs of wear then the purchase is final sale and will be returned to you.

Think of jewelry returns like shoe returns, you can try it on and consider the style with different outfits, but do not leave the house. Helpful ways to try-on your purchase without harming the jewelry: Try-on earrings and necklaces, but do not add perfume or hairspray or work-out while wearing the items. Rings and bracelets- try them on around the house, but do not turn doorknobs, workout, cook, do dishes or wash your hands.

Do you offer layaways or discounts?

Our prices are painstakingly considered to make sure they are fair, in-line with current market values, and competitive within our profession. As natural hunters of value, we are always looking to keep pricing appropriate with respect to the preciousness of our craft. Because of this we do not offer discounts.
